Hi my name is William and this is an essay about my life. I am a 5th grader in Room 2, Saticoy School and first, I will tell you about my hobbies, family, favorite colors, and friends. My hobbies are playing baseball, riding my bike,and a new one is launching model rockets.I also like to read.I play baseball at Saticoy Little League. Last year I a was on The Mets. I played right field and second bas but I had to stop playing when I got an injury (or either Arthritis or I pulled a ligament) but it feels much better now. Yesterday I launched my first model rocket. It was called The Moon Mutt. The way to launch a rocket is to put the gunpowder in the rocket.Then, you put the trigger (two metal cords) in the engine then put the plug in the hole in the middle of the engine. Then you push the button and lift off! Next my favorite colors are red,blue,green and orange. I like red and blue because they are bright and fun.Now my family. T have 4 people and 1 pet in my family.My dad Sheylan (34), my mom Leticia (42), my sister Claudia (6), and my dog Max(4).My mother is from Panama. my dad is Irish from his Dad (my Grandpa), and Russian from his mom (my Grandma,but he was born in L.A. and he dosent have an acsent). My mom is teaching me Espaniol (Spanish).
My best friends are Jayden (10 years), Rodolfo (10 years), Giana (10 years), Luigui (6 years), Torsten (8 or 9 years), Hawns(5 years) Yasmin(10 years) Jacob (10 years),and a lot more.I knew Jayden since first grade, I knew Rodolfo since second grade,I knew Luigi and Giana since first grade. Torsten and Hawns since first grade, Yasmin since second grade, and Jacob since third grade. Now I will tell you how I like to learn. the way I learn is doing the job. When I work or draw,then I learn the method that is to be used. Next I will write about some cool things my awesome teachers, Mr. Wulff and Mrs. Geib have done. So far they have a reading area with nice couches, a fish from the Amazon, has taught us how to draw life-like portraits, let us use laptops and they let us have digatal cameras. We have a lot more animals than what I said. We have a Silver Arowana(Osteoglossum Bicirrhosum), two Bearded Dragons (Pagona Vitticeps) named Smog and Matches, a Mexican Black King Snake(Lampropeltis Getula Nigrita) named Preacious, a Tiger Oscer (Astronotus Ocellatus), a Jack Dempsey and an Albino Corn snake.What I need to work on is minor errors in math.No big deal.
Finally, my goals. My personal goal is to get better at baseball and get on a high school team.My academic goals are to achieve good grades, and get a degree. Last but not least is the future I see my self as either a Paleontologist, Archeologist, docter, air force or a Policeman.That is all about me. The End. :)
